Tomorrow is the day! (And I need YOUR help!)

Wow.  It’s here.

At midnight (in about 4 hours and 50 minutes), I will be a published author. How insane is that to say? Right now, in these minutes, life couldn’t get any more perfect. Jason is home, my children are happy and healthy, our baby girl is bouncing in her jumper, and my debut novel is about to publish.

 Blessed.  That’s how I feel

I feel like I’m standing at the edge of a ravine, and I’m either about to walk across by some hidden bridge, like Indiana Jones, or I’m going to topple over. The problem with having everything you’ve prayed for is that you get incredibly scared of losing it. Sure, there are things that can go wrong. The novel could not sell well. Our Princess Pumpkin could be sent back to her biological family. Honestly? I choose not to think about it. I can’t comprehend a moment that she’s not a part of this family. I also can’t comprehend not getting to have this career I’ve wanted since I understood what a book was.  I choose to think awesome thoughts.

This is going to be awesome.  Like playing with a baby polar bear awesome.
Or stumbling upon this at the mall kind of epic:
This adventure is simply amazing.  But here’s the thing.  I need help.
If you’re reading this, yes, I mean YOU.  Statistics definitely don’t favor debut authors, but most debut authors don’t have YOU GUYS.  So if you’re itching to help, or just have a few seconds, here’s a few things I would be so heart-stoppingly grateful for your help with:
1.  If you can, buy FULL MEASURES.  The best part?  Because my publisher, Entangled, is celebrating its third birthday, all new titles this month are on sale, so you can score FULL MEASURES at $0.99!  Seriously!!!!  Just do a little click-a-roo, and tell me what you think!
If you could do that for me, I’d be eternally grateful!  It would be as awesome as petting a Koala, right?
Okay, maybe not, but seriously?  Look at his ears.  Look at them!
2. Leave a review. – Reviews are HUGE to authors.  They can take a book that’s flat-lining and make it soar like:
So if you really want to help a girl out, leave a review on Amazon or Barnes&Noble using the links above, because that’s where potential readers will check out if they’ll like the book and maybe even buy it!  And if you’re feeling extra froggy,
you can drop into goodreads, and leave a review there too!  That would be about as awesome as seeing a chicken ride a turtle, right?
I mean, come on… how often do you see THAT?
3.  If you’re really wanting to help?  Sharing is caring.  Tell your book club, your friends, the other moms at the bus stop.  Share it on Facebook or Twitter, and I will be FOREVER thankful, because what really moves books, is recommendations and word-of-mouth.  Yes, I will chase you down and hug you!
4.  Lastly?  Just pray ’em if you got ’em for us folks, that FULL MEASURES does well, and that our family stays intact.  It’s such a beautiful time for us, but such a time of flux.  We have been incredibly blessed this year, and we know it.  There’s no words in my vocabulary to express my thanks to every person who has supported us, loved us, or simply sent a kind thought our way.
That being said…. It’s now UBER close to release time, and I’m kind of like:
I will never forget this feeling as long as I live, and for those of you who have been here with me, reading the blog through deployments, watching this evolve from the very beginning, then you understand how much this truly means to me.  It’s my dream come true!!!! And for those of you who are new here, “Hiya!”
Okay, peeps, I’m off to watch the clock, hyperventilate and cheer with my husband when the book goes live.
Here’s to dreams coming true!

Hi Rebecca! Just wanted you to know this is my first time here. I"m helping to promote you and your book and I just wanted to drop by and say hello and congratulations!! Whoo Hoo!!! I will definitely be checking back in. I'm also an Army brat and remember the trials and tribulations of growing up in that sort of atmosphere. Congrats on the blog award and having your family all together during this very special time for you. I l love your post and smiled at the Koala's twitching ears. All the best of luck with your debut novel.
